Soft wash
While we do us a pressure washer to clean your home. We us very little pressure, and high water volume. This technique is called soft washing. Water pressure can damage building materials such as siding and asphalt shingles. That is why it is always recommended to hire a professional that knows what they are doing. We let our soaps, detergents, and algicides do the heavy hitting. If your siding is looking green a soft wash will have it looking clean.
wood restoration
After a while sealers and stains can fail on wood. Algae can also begin to grow and cause further damage. We have put in play a technique for wood cleaning that starts at removing old stains , and sealers " this does not work for latex stains though". We then clean and treat the wood for surface organic growth. In the next step we neutralize the strippers, cleaners, and brighten the wood to give it a new wood look. We also use a soft wash technique while doing this so that we do not damage the wood. Then you can stain the wood again to help protect and prolong.
Masonry Cleaning
When masonry starts to turn green or black. It doesn't just look unsightly. It becomes very slippery when wet. Unlike the soft wash techniques we use for delicate building materials. We have to use a little more pressure with masonry. We use a surface cleaner to remove surface build up. Then treat the masonry with our soaps and algaecides to kill organic growth and spores. After water brooming your masonry is clean, safe to walk on, and ready to seal.
oxidation removal
While we do a lot of specialty cleaning such as rust removal/lightening. This right here has to be what we see more then anything. Old aluminum siding or shutters can oxidize and bleed onto the porous brick below saturating it. While it does require more aggressive cleaners to tackle this. We can have it looking next to new for you in no time.
