Importance of Cleaning Concrete
Introduction

Concrete, although sturdy and durable, requires regular maintenance to retain its integrity and aesthetic appeal. Beyond its utilitarian value, clean concrete contributes significantly to the overall look and safety of your property.

Benefits of Clean Concrete

Clean concrete does more than just look good. It enhances curb appeal, making your property stand out in the neighborhood. A well-maintained driveway or sidewalk not only impresses visitors but also adds value to your property. Moreover, clean concrete prevents safety hazards like slippery surfaces caused by mold or algae growth, reducing the risk of accidents. Additionally, it extends the lifespan of the concrete, saving you money in the long run by avoiding costly repairs or replacements.

If you are looking for a concrete pressure washing company near Pittsburgh PA, and you hire us. We typically use 2 types of concrete sealers.

Deep Penetrating

This sealer is pretty forgiving as far as application. It has no real cosmetic benefits, except for the fact that with less water present. It will be taking away the habitat for organic growth to form back as fast. It will also help with winter protection, and will help prolong the finish. This sealer is a Pittsburgh PA favorite in my opinion.

Acrylic Sealer

This is also known as a high gloss concrete sealer, or wet look concrete sealer. When sealing concrete with this type of sealer, it can be a little less forgiving. I would only recommend using this type of sealer on exposed aggregate, and stamped concrete. In the end a high gloss concrete sealer will not only protect your concrete, but it will also add curb appeal.
