TRAVIS KINGS PRESSURE WASHING
CUSTOMER NOTICE & SERVICE CONDITIONS
Important Information Regarding Your Exterior Cleaning Service
At Travis Kings Pressure Washing, we take pride in providing quality exterior cleaning services while taking reasonable precautions to protect your property. Exterior cleaning involves water, cleaning solutions, equipment, and various surface conditions. Please review the following important information before your scheduled service.
1. Windows, Doors & Building Openings
All windows, doors, garage doors, vents, and other openings must be properly closed and secured before cleaning begins. Travis Kings Pressure Washing is not responsible for water or cleaning solutions entering the property through openings left open, improperly sealed, damaged, or unsecured by the customer. Water intrusion may result in damage to interior walls, flooring, furnishings, and personal belongings.
2. People, Children & Pets
All people, children, and pets must remain away from the active work area during cleaning. Cleaning equipment, pressurized water, cleaning solutions, and slippery surfaces can create hazardous conditions. All animals must be supervised when outside for 24 hours following service. Keep children and pets away from treated areas until they are safe to access.
3. Exterior Electrical Receptacles
All exterior electrical receptacles and applicable outdoor electrical circuits must be turned off at the breaker panel before cleaning begins. Electrical outlets should be properly covered and protected. Any known electrical issues must be brought to our attention before service. We are not responsible for electrical damage resulting from existing defects, improper installation, inadequate protection, or unsecured electrical components.
4. Window Screens & Window Tracks
We do not remove window screens as part of our standard cleaning service. However, homeowners may remove their screens before our arrival if they would like us to better flush and clean their window tracks. We are not responsible for removing, reinstalling, or repairing screens unless previously agreed upon.
5. Previously Painted or Coated Surfaces
Customers must notify us before cleaning any surfaces that have previously been painted, stained, or coated. Certain paints contain organic pigments that may react with cleaning solutions, particularly sodium hypochlorite. These reactions can cause discoloration or fading. We may need to perform a test in an inconspicuous area before proceeding. Failure to disclose previously painted or coated materials may result in discoloration for which Travis Kings Pressure Washing cannot accept responsibility.
6. Landscaping, Plants & Vegetation
We make every reasonable effort to protect surrounding flowers, shrubs, trees, grass, and landscaping. However, despite our best efforts and reasonable precautions, some vegetation may experience stress, discoloration, or damage from cleaning solutions, overspray, runoff, or other conditions associated with exterior cleaning. We cannot guarantee that all vegetation will remain unaffected.
7. Oxidation, Fading & Surface Deterioration
Older siding, aluminum, vinyl, painted surfaces, and other building materials may have oxidation, fading, chalking, or deterioration. Cleaning can expose existing conditions or make them more noticeable. Improper pressure or cleaning methods used by previous contractors may also have weakened certain surfaces. We cannot guarantee restoration of original color or appearance and are not responsible for pre-existing oxidation, fading, or deterioration.
8. Loose Siding, Caulking & Existing Water Intrusion
Customers must notify us of loose siding, damaged trim, failing caulking, deteriorated window seals, loose shingles, leaking windows, or other known areas where water may enter. Exterior cleaning can expose existing weaknesses and may allow water to enter through defective building materials. We are not responsible for water intrusion resulting from pre-existing defects or improperly maintained building components.
9. Outdoor Furniture & Personal Belongings
Please remove or secure outdoor furniture, cushions, rugs, decorations, potted plants, electronics, grills, toys, and other personal belongings before service. Items that cannot be removed should be brought to our attention beforehand. We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area that are not suitable for exposure to water or cleaning solutions.
10. Water Supply & Property Access
The customer must provide reasonable access to the areas being cleaned and an adequate water supply unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please ensure that exterior water spigots are accessible and operational. Any known plumbing issues, leaking spigots, or restrictions on water usage must be disclosed before service.
11. Drainage, Runoff & Surrounding Areas
Cleaning solutions and rinse water may travel across driveways, walkways, landscaping, and other surrounding surfaces. We take reasonable precautions to manage runoff and minimize unintended exposure. However, existing drainage issues, low-lying areas, and improper grading may affect where water travels. Customers should notify us of sensitive areas, ponds, water features, or other environmental concerns before cleaning begins.
12. Pre-Existing Damage & Cleaning Limitations
We are not responsible for pre-existing cracks, loose materials, failing paint, damaged seals, deteriorated surfaces, or other existing defects. Cleaning results vary depending on the age, condition, material, and previous maintenance of the property. Some stains, rust, oxidation, organic growth, and discoloration may not be completely removable through standard exterior cleaning.
13. Cleaning Solutions & Treated Surfaces
We use cleaning solutions appropriate for the services being performed. Customers should disclose any sensitive materials, specialty finishes, recently installed surfaces, or manufacturer-specific cleaning restrictions before work begins. Some surfaces may react differently depending on their age, condition, composition, and previous treatments.
14. Photographs & Documentation
We may take before-and-after photographs of the work area for documentation, quality control, and service records. Any use of identifiable property photographs for advertising or promotional purposes will be subject to appropriate customer permission.
OUR COMMITMENT
At Travis Kings Pressure Washing, we always strive to do our best, use appropriate cleaning methods, and take reasonable precautions to protect your property. However, exterior cleaning involves variables that are sometimes outside our control.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Following these precautions helps us provide the best possible service while keeping your family, pets, property, and our crew safe.
